You meant to handle it weeks ago. You thought about calling, then life got busy. You worried it might be too expensive. And let’s be honest—no one actually enjoys dealing with dog poop. Now your backyard looks more like an obstacle course than a place to relax, and all you want is a clean yard you can enjoy again. That’s when you reached out to Rocky Mountain Pooper Scoopers, received your free quote, and scheduled professional pet waste removal. Here’s exactly what happens next.
What to Expect on Service Day
Our standard operating hours run from dawn to dusk, Monday through Friday, and we work year-round whenever possible. When one of our trained technicians arrives, access to your yard is required in order to complete the service. Homeowners are responsible for providing that access. We are unable to manage mailed keys or personal key handling requests, but lockboxes or combination locks are welcome if needed.
We do our best to arrive as scheduled, but sometimes delays happen—it’s the nature of the job. If we’re unable to service your yard for any reason, you’ll be notified within 24 hours, and you will not be charged for that missed visit. Services may also be rescheduled due to severe weather conditions or when a scheduled visit falls on a holiday.
Dogs, Safety, and Yard Access
Our team is happy to work while your dog is in the yard as long as your dog is not aggressive. The safety of our employees is always the top priority. If a technician cannot safely enter your yard, the visit will still be considered completed and billed accordingly.
We ask all clients to keep current vaccination records for their dogs. In the rare event that an employee is bitten or injured, those records may be requested to protect everyone involved.
Yard Maintenance Requirements
To provide the best service possible, we ask that your yard be reasonably maintained. Overgrown grass, excessive leaves, or debris can make pet waste difficult to see and collect and may pose safety risks. While our company is fully bonded and insured, keeping the yard accessible helps ensure a safe and efficient cleanup for our technicians.
Sanitation and Disposal Process
During service, our team may use water from your outdoor spigot to prepare sanitizing, deodorizing, and disinfecting solutions. After each visit, all tools, shoes, and hands are thoroughly disinfected. Dog waste can carry harmful bacteria, and we take every step necessary to prevent cross-contamination between properties.
Once all pet waste is removed, it will be securely bagged and placed in your trash bin unless you request a different disposal method.
Vacation Holds and Scheduling Flexibility
If you and your dog will be away, no problem at all. Simply contact us at (385) 392-0791, and we’ll place your service on hold until you return. Regular service will resume as scheduled once you’re back home.
Satisfaction and Cancellations
Your satisfaction matters to us. If you ever feel something wasn’t handled correctly, let us know right away so we can fix it. Should you need to cancel a scheduled visit, we kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice by phone or email. Visits canceled without sufficient notice will still be charged.
Payment Information
Payment is accepted by credit or debit card on the day of service. If a payment is declined, a $1.00 per day late fee will apply until the balance is resolved.
With Rocky Mountain Pooper Scoopers, you can finally enjoy your yard again—without the mess, the stress, or the smell.
